Chair Yoga is a gentle form of yoga practiced while seated or using a chair for support, making it accessible for all ages, abilities, and levels of mobility. This practice helps improve strength, flexibility, balance, and circulation, while also reducing stress and tension. It’s especially beneficial for those who spend a lot of time sitting, are new to yoga, or are looking for a safe, supportive way to stay active. For safety and ease of movement, please use a sturdy chair without arms. Simple props like yoga blocks or a strap may be used; if you don’t have them, household items like books or a belt work just as well. Instructions and Zoom link for joining will be shared in the confirmation email sent when you register and one hour before the call.

Colynn’s teachings on functional yoga—emphasizing how the practice feels in the body rather than how it looks—continue to shape Michelle’s approach and form the foundation of Rasayana Yoga.
